A significant sponsorship announcement in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Cummins and Kaulig Trucks are teaming up. Of course, how can you have a Ram truck without Cummins joining too?
Chris Rice and Kaulig Trucks have landed their first major sponsorship announcement. Brenden “Butterbean” Queen is going to have Cummins on his No. 12 Ram 1500 for the full season in 2026. That’s right, full-season primary sponsorship for Butterbean in his first season.
This is a sponsorship that just makes sense. It’s going to be fun watching Butterbean race around in this truck.
“Cummins branding will be featured on the primary livery of Queen’s Ram 1500 for every race in 2026,” a Kaulig Trucks press release said. “This partnership marks the latest milestone in the longstanding partnership between Cummins and Ram, which began in 1989 when the first Cummins-powered Dodge Ram was produced. Since then, more than 3.5 million Ram trucks have been powered by Cummins, setting the standard for heavy duty diesel pickups.”
I wonder how many waffles Butterbean can fit in his Cummins Ram 1500? I’m sure he is going to find out in 2026. If there is one driver to watch as a breakthrough star, it is Butterbean in the Truck Series.
Everyone is happy to see Corey Heim leave. Watch what you wish for, because Butterbean has the talent to win quickly and win often at the Truck Series level.
The Kaulig Trucks team is one to be excited about. Butterbean, Justin Haley, and Daniel Dye are the trio for Ram. Let’s see what they can do in 2026. We aren’t too far away from Daytona, folks.
Kaulig Trucks lands major Cummins sponsorship
With the close relationship that Ram Trucks and Cummins have had for decades, this isn’t surprising, but it’s nice to see. There is a big difference between slapping a Cummins logo on a truck and sponsoring a truck for a full season.
We barely see full-season sponsors in the Cup Series at this point, and Butterbean is landing one in the Truck Series. Kaulig Trucks, and NASCAR for that matter, are really hoping that Butterbean is a star in the making. The kind of driver who can be Dodge’s first Cup Series rookie signing, perhaps?
Kaulig Trucks have a lot of marketing potential. They have to have success, though. If we end up seeing Butterbean and this Cummins No. 12 truck in Victory Lane multiple times in 2026, his stardom is going to truly take off.
Just think about what this No. 12 truck will look like on a shirt or other merch and marketing materials. Bright red and yellow with a huge Cummins “C” on the hood and bed cover? It’s a recipe for success, but only if the results on the track hold up.
