On Wednesday night, while others were preparing for the New Year, Brexton Busch was beating his dad, Kyle Busch. The father-son duo went up against each other in Winged Outlaw competition last night. Brexton came out on top.

When Brexton Busch beat his dad, Kyle Busch, at DuQuoin, it was a bit of a false flag. Rowdy had mechanical issues late. It was more of an anomaly. Last night in Tulsa was a straight-up win for Brexton.

Starting P5 and P7, both Brexton and Kyle Busch were able to move up quickly at first in the heat race. Once they settled in, it was Brexton leading Kyle for lap after lap. Rowdy couldn’t get a good look to the inside of his son’s car, so he just brought it home behind him.

A really solid race from both drivers. To beat his dad, Brexton Busch has to be feeling great to start the New Year. Kyle Busch might get the last laugh before it is all said and done, though.
